Resolution is the important fact for scanner. You can change any image to digital format. Before buy a scanner you should analyze the resolution of a scanner. Resolution is consider with the quality of scanner.
Step1- Resolution is the system of capturing the image or data with using the number of sensors. So you should select a high first number. Although there are vary with resolution. Producers say that scanners have 1200 by 2400 but it is not true at all.
Step2- You must use a high quality printer for a high resolution scanner. If you wish to get great performance with using low quality printer then it is become very funny. Still you can’t get good quality picture.
Step3- 300 by 300 resolution scanner is good. But if you want to save money then it is up to you. You have no problem with cost then you can buy expensive scanner starting the resolution of 1200 by 1200 to 2400 by 2400. 600 by 600 is pretty good for using.
Step4- If you have the plan to print 8 by 10 or large imager images then you should select 1200 by 1200.
